Men's Mental Health
We know that when you are feeling low it can feel very isolating. Did you know 1 in 8 men in England are estimated to have a common mental health condition? This would be equivalent to 22,031 men in Bedfordshire (Central Bedford & Bedford), 9,878 in Luton and 12,276 in Milton Keynes. You truly are not alone.
You may from time to time experience work stress, relationship worries, money problems, concerns around your health, grief or loss, or even issues with addiction to things like alcohol, substances, or cigarettes. This can be a scary time but lots of people also struggle with these concerns. It’s important to be able to identify when you are beginning to experience trouble and to reach out to the relevant people for help. We have an online check-up here, where you can take a short questionnaire which will point you in the direction of further advice and support. We understand that it can be difficult to reach out but remember how important your mental wellbeing is; we are here to help and support you every step of the way.
If you need someone to talk to, you can head to our useful contacts page and reach out for some independent advice or just for someone to talk to.
